Air Wash Dust Collector
The Air Wash Dust Collector is an essential component of the abrasive recovery system, designed to collect and filter dust generated during the abrasive reclamation process. It ensures that only clean, usable abrasive is stored in the storage hopper while maintaining environmentally responsible air exhaust.
How It Works
Dust accumulates during two key stages: as abrasive materials are conveyed from the bottom to the upper part of the bucket elevator, and during the separation process within the drum separator. The Air Wash Dust Collector, powered by a suction fan, draws in dust-laden air along with fine, non-usable abrasive particles. Inside the unit, dust is separated from the clean air stream. The collected dust is then transferred to the Dust Recovery System, while the purified air is exhausted—ensuring environmentally clean operation.
Key Components
- Casing – Houses the inlet and outlet connections
- Cartridge Filters – Located inside the casing to separate dust from air
- Motor – Drives the suction fan
- Hopper – Collects and transfers dust to the Dust Recovery System
