SCRAPER FLOOR
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: SCRAPER FLOOR FOR ABRASIVE RECOVERY
The Scraper Floor is an automatic abrasive recovery system designed to efficiently transport spent abrasive and contaminants back to the bucket elevator. Its low-profile design minimizes or—when floor mounted—completely eliminates foundation costs, making it an economical choice for blast room installations.
How It Works
The scraper floor consists of a series of pivoting blades mounted within a movable frame. Driven by a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder to reduce running costs, the scraper modules move back and forth in a continuous cycle:
- Backward stroke: Blades ride up and over the abrasive material.
- Forward stroke: Blades push the abrasive along the floor toward the abrasive cleaning unit.
Key Advantages
- Low maintenance design – No tools required to remove blades from modules for inspection or repair
- Cost-effective operation – Pneumatic or hydraulic drive lowers running costs
- Foundation savings – Low-profile design reduces foundation expenses
